Ye Fan: The Warmest Vitality

JINGHOPE · Art Center Sanya Space has the honor to announce the launch of Ye Fan's first large-scale solo exhibition The Warmest Vitality. As a sorting-out of his creations in the past three years and presentation of his new works, the exhibition has displayed over 40 works, including paintings, sculptures, NFT digital collections and the artist's in-residency creations in JINGHOPE · Art Center during the pandemic.

This solo exhibition in Sanya focuses on three themes: Speculation and Illusion, Metaverse House, and Matter and Mind. The series of Matter and Mind in the main exhibition hall presents an interpretation of the spiritual theme of the entire exhibition with the Greek word "entelecheia" as it's hint - The Warmest Vitality .

The Jaeger Experiment: The Romance of an Island

Through field collection, cooperation or independent painting, artists express the beauty of the island in their eyes for the audience, trying to convey the romantic view of the island. The collection spots include Lingshui Dali Waterfall, Wanning Boundary Island, Wuzhi Mountain Rainforest, Lizu Temple and The Sanya EDITION, etc.

The artists work in an independent, equal and complementary way. This project tries to find the possibility of co-painting and explores the painting language in an equal, inclusive and open way under a given theme. 

37 works have been created by the artists during their stay. During exhibition, the works of Xu Hongxiang and Lv Song under the same title, <Leaf>, were taken by a single collector. Two sets of cloth sofas painted separately by artists and oil on paper named <Island>, were also sold before the end of the exhibition.
