First Light

JINGHOPE Art Center is honored to announce the opening of the group exhibition First Light on 17 July. Curated by Dai Zhuoqun, the exhibition brings together 17 works by eight artists: Hong Hao, Liu Jianhua, Shang Yixin, Shi Jiayun, Wang Guangle, Xie Molin, Yang Xinguang, and Yin Xiuzhen.

On April 3, 2026, Xu Qu’s solo exhibition「Bright」officially opened at Sanya JINGHOPE Art Center. Taking “shell currency” as its conceptual thread, the exhibition brings together the African Currency and Maze series—one revealing value negotiations within a colonial context, the other deconstructing conventional perceptions of pathways. The on-site mural Diffuse Shell Currency, derived from the iridescent colors of shells, was created in situ within the exhibition space.
